摘要

Abstract

Controller area network(CAN) is a widely used field bus network, being appropriate for transferring short real-time message. The modeling and simulation are essential to assess and optimize the overall performance of CAN network. Considering the performance optimization of CAN communication, Simulink/Stateflow modeling method for CAN communication was investigated in depth in this paper, and a simulation model was given with a demo implemented. Based on the experimental results, analyzing the network performance and shows the relationship of arriving messages interval, the probability of busy channel and the suffocation probability causing high priority information sending with network performance parameter about throughput and the end-to-end delay, the real-time performance of CAN is effectively analyzed, and the method of determining important parameters was proposed in the CAN bus performance optimization design.
