摘要

Abstract

In order to solve the problem of veiling glare when driving through tunnels and saving electric ener gy, a LED intelligent illumination control system for tunnels is designed based on the short start-up and direct current driving characteristic of LED. A detailed introduction about control strategy and working principle of the system are given. The system has three operation modes as auto mode, manual mode and emergency mode to meet different demands of operator. The system was verified in the manual mode. The results show that the sys tem can not only tune the illumination of LED continuously in real time accurately but also broaden the range of brightness from 0 to 100% .
