基于QuikSCAT/NCEP风场的1999-2009年中国海表风场研究
Sea surface wind field analyze from 1999 to 2009 in the China Sea by QuikSCAT/NCEP data

Abstract
In this paper, the QuikSCAT/NCEP wind field data is used to analyze the characteristics of sea surface wind field in the China Sea from 1999 to 2009. The primary characteristics of wind field were analyzed, such as the sea surface wind speed, wind direction, extreme wind speed and frequency of gale. The wind speed and wind direction show obvious seasonal characteristic. Large values of extreme wind speed occurred in the east area of Taiwan, around Hainan Island and so on. The frequency of wind speed between 3m/s and 25m/s is high. The regions with wind speed larger than 13.9m/s are mainly in the Tsushima strait, Taiwan Island and adjacent area and so on. The result of monthly EOF analysis is similar to the seasonal characteristics of wind field in the China Sea.关键词
