Abstract
In order to improve hardness and wear-resistance, boride layers were prepared on T10 steel by the salt-bath boronizing method. The L9(34) orthogonal experiment was designed by changing the content of SiC, B4C, KCl and boronizing temperature to find the optimum proportion and the microstructure, thickness and the wear-resistance property of the boride layer were studied. The results showed that the influence of B4 C on thickness and wear-resistance of layer was the largest. With the content of SiC increasing, thickness and wear-resistance property increases. With the content of B4C, KCl and boronizing temperature increasing, the thickness and wear-resistance property increases at first and then decreases. The optimum proportion by weight of borax, cryolite, Cr2O3, SiC, B4C, KCl was 50:20:5:12:5: 20, and the optimum boronizing temperature was 910℃.关键词
