Method for Calculating Shear Capacity of RC Beams Strengthened with Prestressed Wire Stirrups
摘要
Abstract
Using truss model, the theoretical analysis was conducted to study the mechanism of steel wire in strengthening, and a model to predict shear capacity of reinforced concrete beams strengthened with prestressed wire stirrups was put forward. The calculation results agree well with the experimental ones, and the results obtained by code AC1 318-05 are conservative, therefore this model can be used to calculate the shear capacity of beam strengthened with prestressed wire stirrups, and the reduction of concrete shear bearing capacity and the ultimate strength of steel wire would be taken into consideration.关键词
