摘要

Abstract

The processing applicability of high temperature epoxy 5284 for vacuum assisted resin infusion (VARI) technology was investigated by rheometer and dynamic contact angle tensiometer. Non-crimp fabric(NCF) reinforced epoxy composite was fabricated to test the flexural properties and short beam shear strength. The viscosity maintained around 0. 22Pa · S in the range of 60-200°C , fitting for VARI process. The wettability of 5284 resin on T700 fiber became better with the increasing temperature and the T700 fiber could be wetted well by 5284 resin at 70 °C and 80°C . The interlaminate damage was attributed to the breakage of fiber-matrix interface resulting from the expansion of crack in resin-rich region.
