基于路由更新链的BGP收敛性改进机制
Improving BGP convergence through route update chain
摘要
Abstract
This paper presented a mechanism for improving BGP convergence. Firstly,this mechanism constructed route update chain( RUC) to log Ids of nodes in which optimal routes had been changed. On the premise of respecting minimum route ad vertisement interval(MRAI) ,the RUC was updated and propagated for reporting route changing of source node, middle nodes and neighbor nodes in time. Then each node could quickly eliminate all invalid and obsolescent routes by learning from RUC, which meant BGP convergence was accelerated. Performance analysis demonstrates the proposed mechanism improves BGP convergence on network cost and efficiency.关键词
