Research advances on culture and storage technologies for bulbs of Zantedeschia spp.
摘要
Abstract
This paper reviewed the research advances on the development of methods for culturing bulbs of Zant-edeschia spp. The biological characteristics, hazards and control measures of bacterial soft rot of Zantedeschia spp. had been discussed. Discussions on ideal culture medium formula and the best time for transplanting test tube plantlets using tissue culture technology had also been included in this article. It has been concluded that though it is difficult to cure the bacterial soft rot of Zantedeschia spp., but with the help of some integrated preventive measures, it can be minimize to a great extent. In order to improve the resistance to bacterial soft rot for Zantedeschia spp., further study should focus on the forward and reverse genetics methods, and plant growth regulators.关键词
