摘要

Abstract

Based on Markov model, this paper presented a voltage scaling policy called Markov based voltage scaling policy for processor with discrete voltage levels. The supply voltage of process could be switched dynamically by MKBVSP according the variance of system workload, and the balance of system between the performance and the power could be obtained thereby. Experimental results demonstrate that the power consumption can be further reduced with the implementation of MKBVSP, which can be far decreased by 58%.
