Abstract

[Objective] The aim was to discuss the relationship between the reed and salinity in severely salinized area, and revealed the vertical distribution of underground biomass of reed. [ Method ] Through the field investigations and sampling, mass accurate data of underground biomass of Reed were gained. Vertical distribution of underground biomass of Reed were analyzed by using combined statistical and ecological method, By survey the content of organic carbon and nitrogen of reed wetlands, the specific value of C/N was worked out. The correlation model among organic carbon, nitrogen of reed wetlands and C/N were analyzed further. [ Result] Total underground biomass of reed population is concentrating distributed at 10 cm to 40 cm underground, it is evident that the thick root plays the important role in Reed's total biomass; Overall change of organic carbon and total nitrogen shows declining trend, the content of organic carbon and nitrogen in soils became stable below SO centimeters from the surface; The content of organic carbon and total nitrogen in soil had significantly positive correlation. [Conclusion] These results will provided theoretical basis for obtaining underground biomass of reed in salinized area of arid region.
