Jointly estimating four-dimensional parameters of near field sources based on second-order statistics

Abstract
An algorithm for jointly estimating frequencies,bearings,elevations and ranges of near field sources is proposed, which based on Second-Order Statistics (SOS) matrix.The algorithm uses the center-symmetric cross-array and constructs SOS matrices using sensor outputs.Combined with the characteristics of these matrices this algorithm constructs new matrices, and using information on eigenvalues and eigenvectors, the source parameters are obtained. The algorithm only uses six SOS matrices to estimate four-dimensional parameters, in addition, the estimated parameters are paired automatically.The simulation results show that the algorithm can accurately estimate the parameters of near field sources.关键词
