Abstract
As a witness of early development of western urban planning history studies, the International Planning History Society promoted the internationalization and standardization of planning history studies through its biennial international conferences. Based on both quantitative and qualitative analysis, this paper makes a summary of the venues, themes, participants and scholastic achievements of all previous international conferences of IPHS. By attempting to establish a horizontal and vertical analytical framework, the paper analyzes the subject matter of the society's research agendas and discusses its reference to Chinese planning history researches.关键词
