一种基于冗余Ridgelet变换的图像多描述编码方法

摘要
Abstract
A new multiple description coding scheme is proposed.This scheme combines the JPEG standard and the redundant Ridgelet transform, and gets a good performance both on image compression and transmission robustness.The image is partitioned into many blocks and every block is applied on DCT (Discrete Cosine Transform) and quantification.Basing on the frequency the DCT coefficients in blocks are regrouped,and they are applied the redundant Ridgelet transform in succes-sion.Depending on the energy property of the coefficients in ridgelet domain the descriptions are generated.The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm can reconstruct the image effectively even only one of the descriptions is received, and it has high performance at error-resilient in image transmission.关键词
