A Molding Technique of Fiber Self-reinforced PLA Composites

摘要

Abstract

A series of fiber self-reinforced polylactide(PLA) composites were prepared by multilayer press molding. The effects of fiber content and preparing technics on mechanical properties and interfacial structures of sellf-reinforced PLA were researched by means of mechanical property test, SEM and DSC. The results show that: the mechanical property of self-reinforced PLA increases obviously with the increase of PLA fiber content; compared with the traditional molding method, the multilayer press molding method can reduce the degree of damage to the fiber and enhance the impact strength.
