Abstract
The 3-D finite element method is applied to simulate the construction process of the concrete lining of Sanbanxi spillway tunnel, and the analysis on temperature and temperature-stress distributions of side-wall shows that the cracks in lining concrete will be developed richly and distributed irregularly. For the construction in summer, the development of cracks is: (a) the transverse joint of side wall will open in about the 3nd day after concrete pouring, (b) the cracks may occur in the low left and right corners and upper left corner in about the 7th day, (c) the cracks will extend and deepen during the 7th~28th day, and (d) the cracks in the central will further develop to run through the lining in winter. Therefore, effective temperature control measures must be taken to prevent cracks in summer construction.关键词
