摘要

Abstract

The generation and features of lean cadmium solution in conventional process of zinc hydrometallurgy are discussed in this paper. The technical methods for treatment of lean cadmium solution is introduced, and the process of oxidation and hydrolysis for cobalt deposition, especially the advantages of Caro acid oxidation and hydrolysis for cobalt deposition are emphasized. When cobalt deposition is made by potassium permanganate oxidation and hydrolysis, the volume of oxidant and pH value of reaction system has the critical effect to the process. Caro acid with high oxidbillity can be used for oxidation and hydrolysis for cobalt deposition, which is made by hydrogen peroxide and concentrated sulphuric acid, it is feasible technically, and it shall not bring in new impurities during the process, it is an environment -friendly cobalt removal additive. 98% ~99% cobalt in feed liquid shall precipitated as the form of Co (OH),, and the cobalt grade of the sediment can reach to 49. 3% , it has great market value.
