摘要

Abstract

Residual gum in the bio-degumming ramie fibers could affect the subsequent spinning process. Under the premise of undamaging the cellulose fiber, green and recycled N-methylmorpholine N-oxide (NMMO) solution was applied to remove the residual gum in the bio-degumming ramie. The effects of NMMO concentration, reaction temperature, reaction time and liquor ratio on the residual gum removal were investigated. The results showed that the lowest residual gum 2.28% was obtained under the optimum conditions: 50% of NMMO, 1:20 of liquor ratio, heated at 70 ℃ for 60 min.
