摘要

Abstract

The AI2O3 particle reinforced composites was prepared by mechanical stirring the AI2O3 particle into the melt of Al-Mn alloy. Contrast study was carried out by the hardness and the impact test of the Al-Mn alloy and composites. Under the conditions of high salinity water with grit, the abrasion test of Al-Mn alloys and particle reinforced composites was conducted. Comparing the amount of mass loss of the two kinds of materials, the results show that the hardness of AI2O3 particle reinforced Al-Mn composites had obviously raised, and analysis from the impact test, the AI2O3 particle had grain refined effect. The amount of mass loss of the Al-Mn alloy and Al-Mn composite were increasing with the increase of load under the heavier load(>110 N). The abrasion resistance of AI2O3 particle reinforced Al-Mn composites is better than Al-Mn alloy its self.
