Abstract
Objective To discuss the clinical features of heart failure with normal ejection fraction in aged patients. Methods The data of 56 old patients with heart failure who admitted to our hospital were collected. Heart failure with preserved LVEF was diagnosed in 28 patients and heart failure with reduced LVEF was diagnosed in another 28 patients. 22 age-matched healthy subjects served as the control group. BMI,SBP,DBP, BNP were compared among the 3 groups. Results There was no difference in terms of NYHA classification between patients with preserved LVEF and reduced LVEF(P >0. 05). The plasma BNP was more significant in heart failure patients with reduced LVEF than those with preserved LVEF( P < 0. 05 ). Conclusion The full understanding of the clinical heart failure with normal left ventricular ejection fraction will improve the diagnostic accuracy.关键词
