摘要

Abstract

Wireless sensing node for temperature and humidity measurement was designed by taking CC2430 chip as a core. By improving the design of ZigBee protocol stack, sensing node can run in idle mode, trigger mode or active mode. The opportune moment and rate of sampling are controlled in accordance with actual demands, so as to reduce the node's energy consumption for wireless communication and to meet the low-power requirement of the wireless sensor network. The lifetime of sensing node is reckoned according to the known parameters. An experimentation was performed to validate the design.
