摘要

Abstract

In order to investigate the effect of different IGF-1 concentrations on the expression of Follistatin(FST), the different concentration rhIGF-1 with 120, 100, 80 and 0 ng · mL-1 (the control group) were injected into the duck egg using in ovo injecting method, and then the expression of FST was detected using QPCR technique. The results showed that the body weight of ducklings at the age of two days among different treatment groups displayed no significant difference (P>0. 05); while the breast muscle weight and breast muscle rate increased with the concentration of rhIGF-1 raising, and it displayed a significant difference between the 120 ng · mL-1 and the control groups (P<0. 05). The diameter and cross section area of muscle fibers in 120 ng · mL-1 rhIGF-1 treatment were the most maximum with a significant difference comparing to control (P<0. 05). The expression level of the FST in duckling breast muscle increased as the concentration of rhIGF-1 was raised, and the expression level of FST reached its highest in 120 ng · mL-1 rhIGF-1 treatment group with a significant difference comparing with other groups (P<0. 05). After analyzing, the expression of FST is induced by IGF-1 in a dose-dependentmanner, and the higher concentration of IGF-1 also promote duck breast muscle development.
