A Joint Economic Lot Sizing Inventory Model for Deteriorating Itemwith Partially Permissible Delay in Payments

Abstract
An integrated cooperative inventory decision model in the supply chain for deteriorating item is studied. Considering a supplier and a retailer integrated supply chain, the supplier offers a retailer a trade credit period , and the retailer must make a partial payment when the order is filled, and also there is a constant deterioration rate occurring at the retailer' s store because of sales conditions. The objective of the model is to determine the supplier' s optimal lot size multiplier n and the retailer' s optimal order cycle to minimize the joint total cost per unit time. A proper mathematical model is developed, several theoretical results derived, and it is proved that for a fixed n, there exists unique optimal solution under every scenario. On this basis, an iterative algorithm is established to find the optimal solution. Finally, combining operations management practice, numerical examples are conducted to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed model.关键词
