Theoretical study on the 5f electron radial wavefunction of ions along Rn isoelectronic sequence

Abstract
Self-consistent-field calculations of the 5/ electron radial wave function of Rn-like ions have been carried out using HFR and LS-dependent HFR methods including correlation and relativistic effects. The collapse behaviors of the 5/ orbital in Rn-like ions have been studied systematically. Furthermore* the effects of the nf orbital collapse on the oscillator strength of the 5d10→td90nf1p(6≤n≤ 10) transitions of Rn isoelectronic sequence ions have been discussed. The results show that the collapse of the 5/ wave function is strongly term dependent and a dramatic change of the 5d10→5d9nf1p(6≤n≤ 10) transition oscillator strengths of Ra2+ ions can be caused by the partial collapse of 5/ wave function. And it is found that the bulk of transition oscillator strengths is concentrated at the 5d10→5f1P after 5/ wave function is completely collapsed关键词
