摘要

Abstract

Half shaft bushing is a kind of long shaft hollow forging. The hot extrusion process was determined based on the structural characteristics and requirements of this product. The major process parameters which influence forming force, including blank temperature, extruding velocity, warming-up temperature of dies, friction coefficient and so on, were analyzed by FEA software. Then the simulation results were treated by orthogonal experimental design method remarkably. The results show that extruding velocity has more obvious influence on forming force and warming-up temperature of dies has the least influence. The experimental results demonstrate the reliability of the simulation and provide theoretic guidance for production.
