摘要

Abstract

In order to obtain the channel capacity of optimally-combined sinusoid Gaussian serial pulse and second order Gaussian pulse to conform to the FCC regulations, the channel capacity with respect to sinusoid Gaussian serial pulses of 2PPM-TH-UWB communication systems was calculated with Monte Carlo simulation method under the additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN). The simulation results demonstrate that the optimization of combined pulse is propitious to the improvement of the capacity. This conclusion is helpful for the pulse analysis and selection of UWB systems.
