Abstract
On the basis of the internal structure of English words and their basic meanings, the software aims to serve as an effective tool to expand vocabulary and crack word-formation in English learning. Inspired by the basic idea of English word formation and assisted by the engineering practical method of sub-system and sub-module query, the research ends up with a systemic tool wrestling with English words, roots and affixes, ultimately and completely presenting a complete systematic theory about English word-formation methods for users on the software window interface. Finally, through demonstration and investigation, the English word-formation software is believed to be rewarding for the undergraduate students, the graduate students and other learners who are interested in expanding their English vocabulary. The English word-formation software helps more or less to overcome the shortage in domestic professional English software.关键词
