摘要
Abstract
The paper illustrates the origin of NAT and the difficulty for SIP to get through NAT in VOIP applications. After a number of current NAT traversal solutions are studied, the final choice is STUN against asymmetric NAT versus TURN against symmetric NAT to fulfill the ICE solution for NAT traversal. The solution doesn't require any change to present NAT or soft exchange devices. Compared to previous solutions, it is more flexible, cheap and promising.关键词
