Antibacterial activities of the old Apis mellifera honeycomb water and alcohol extracts
摘要
Abstract
The antibacterial activity of the old Apis mellifera honeycomb (been used for 3 years)water extracts and ethanol extracts were to determined by using disk diffusion method and dilution method. The results show that the Apis mellifera honeycomb water extracts and the ethanol extracts have antibacterial activities against Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus epidermidi, Streptococcus hemolytic-p and Streptococcus pneumoniae. The water extracts perform better antibacterial activity than the ethanol extracts.关键词
