Abstract
The paper is prepared for the 30th Anniversary of (Marine Geology and Quaternary Geology). Based on a look back to the achievements in the past 30 years, we may foresee the future trends of marine geology in China. It is believed that marine geology in China will be deeply rooted in the near shore and shallow water in the near future, and expand gradually and firmly into the research of pelagic and deep o-ceans. Suggestions with best wishes are provided for the improvement of the publication.关键词
