Abstract
In order to investigate the oil-air lubrication cooling performance of friction elements, this paper calculated the flow field of a hot rotating cylinder cooled by oil drop and air. The SST (shear-stress transport) k-w turbulence model and DPM (discrete phase model) model for simulation of oil drop were built and FLUENT software was employed to solve the oil-air flow field and jet flow field. The results show that as the distance between nozzle and cylinder (L) increases, the average Nusselt number (Nu) decreases, while the influence of L on the average Nu in the local zone of the cylinder varies. The rotation speed has little effect on Nu, and as Re is increased, the average Nu is increased. The cylinder is divided into four zones according to the flow behaviors, and the effects of L, Re, and Nu on each zone are discussed.关键词
