Abstract
[Objective] To analyze the outcomes of lobectomy in a cohort of 139 patients with thoracoscopic and thoracotomy. [Methods] The 139 nonrandomized cases were divided into two groups, 52 of them undergoing VAST lobectomy and 87 undergoing open lobectomy; and the clinical results were compared. [ Results ] No perioperative mortality, no significant difference in operative site and the average length of hospitalization were revealed between the two groups (P >0.05). No significant difference in number of systemic lymph node dissection and of the blood loss in operation were revealed between the two groups (P >0.05). But significant difference in severe postoperative complications and histological type and postoperative and pathological stages were revealed between the two groups (P <0.05). [ Conclusion ] VATS lobectomy is safe and feasible for early nonsmall-cell lung cancer. It is also feasible for some patients with advanced nonsmall-cell lung cancer.关键词
