Abstract
Objective To investigate the relationship of hypertension with internally diameter of aortic sinus. Methods The internal diameters of aortic sinus were measured with 2-D ultrasound cardiography in 1 010 subjects, including 546 subjects with hypertension and 438 subjects with normal blood pressure. The relationship of the internal diameters of aortic sinus with gender, age, height, body mass index (BMI), body surface area(BSA) , systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure was analyzed with software SPSS 16.0. Results There were significant differences in all factors except the height between hypertensive and non-hypertensive groups(P <0. 01). In both groups, the diameters of aortic sinus in males were larger than those in female(P < 0.01). The multivariate linear regression model revealed that after adjusting age, weight, BMI and BSA, both systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure were positively correlated with internal diameters of aortic sinus. ( r=0.22, r=0.22, both P <0.01) Conclusion The results indicate that hypertension has positive correlation with the diameters of aortic sinus.关键词
