Abstract
Objective To analyze the hospital infectious condition and risk factors of patients in neurology department,so as to take effective prevention. Methods The hospital infectious patients in neurology wards from January 2010 to January 2011 were analyzed retrospectively. Results The infectious rate was 5.76% (72/1 250) , and the rate of cerebral infarction patients was the highest(9. 18% ). In the body,lung was the major part of infection,followed by urinary tract infection. The risk factors of infection were age over 60 years,history of diabetes,chronic underlying diseases,stay in hospital more than 2 weeks,smoking and alcohol abuse history, consciousness and invasive procedures. The hospital infection pathogens were mainly Cram-negative bacteria,accounting for 63. 99%. Conclusion Age,length of hospital stay,underlying diseases and invasive procedures were risk factors for hospital infection in neurology wards. Reducing risk factors, the rational use of antibiotics and strengthening management of hospital infections could effectively control hospital infection.关键词
