低钠饮食性缺钠对大鼠咸味觉敏感性的影响
Effects of sodium depletion induced by low sodium diet on salty taste sensitivity in rats
摘要
Abstract
Objective To investigate the effects of chronic sodium depletion induced by low sodium diet on salty taste function using conditioned taste aversion (CTA)-two-bottle choice test. Methods Rats fed with normal or low sodium diet were both divided into conditioned and unconditioned groups with 10 in each group. After CTA to 0. 1 mol/L NaCl was established, a series of 30 min two-bottle choice tests were performed with NaCl solutions and distilled water in two bottles. Preference scores for each NaCl solution were calculated. Salty taste detection threshold is defined as the lowest concentration at which there is a reliable difference in the preference scores between conditioned and control subjects. Results The salty taste detection threshold of normal rats was 0. 003-0.005 mol/L NaCl while the detection threshold of rats fed with 14-day low sodium diet decreased to 0.001 - 0.003 mol/L. Conclusion Chronic sodium depletion induced by low sodium diet decreases the salty taste detection threshold, thus increasing rats' sensitivity to salty taste.关键词
