Scenario Interface Design Method Based on Perceptual Control
摘要
Abstract
In the pervasive environments, complexity of computing environment makes the user hard to control the states of the system with the predefined actions. The diversity of users, their tasks and techniques demands the correct presentation of the system's states to be considered at the beginning of design. For this purpose, this paper presents a new approach to user interface design with scenarios, based on perceptual control theory. The main point of the approach is to derive the objects that are significant for the user understanding and controlling the system, and the means for the control, from the analysis of scenarios. Result gained from the process is used for the re-design of scenarios. The approach is concerned with user's task and the purpose of which is to satisfy the user's needs. Case analysis show the availability and effectivity of this new approach.关键词
