Abstract
Objective To understand the status quo of social support tor family earegivers of senior citizens in Hangzhou and its influencing factors and lo provide basis for community policy for family caregivers. Methods With cluster sampling, a self-designed questionnaire and social support scale was applied for a face-to-face survey. Results The mean score of social support of family caregivers was lower than 30 and the difference between the utilization of social support of male and female caregivers indicated statistic significance (P<0.05);five variables included gender, age, educational background, job satisfaction, coping strategics of abnormal emotion entered regression equation (P<0.05). Conclusion There exists no high social support for family caregivers of senior citizens. A social support system including multi-level social for family caregivers should be established so as to offer more support for family caregivers and to maintain sustainable development of aged-care at home.关键词
