摘要

Abstract

To overcome the abnormal difficulty in roadway maintenance under the conditions of large cross-section and thick combined top-coal, this study analyzes the separation process of combined top-coal layers in a large cross-section coal roadway. It concludes that the destruction forms of roadway with thick composite top-coal are mainly separating and buckling. The deformation and movement of combined top-coal occur between each layer. Without roof support, the destruction process is mainly in three stages including slip, layer separation, falling and slipping down. Support parameters of a coal roadway with a large cross-section and thick combined top-coal are optimized using the methods of drillhole peep and FEPG software. A high intensity, high stiffness long anchor and anchor rope combined support is proposed in this study. The support results monitored show that the support system demonstrates an excellent safety characteristics and high reliability.
