摘要

Abstract

Objective To investigate the formula stability of total parenteral nutrition(TPN) solution prepared by using mixed carbohydrate and electrolyte injection or glucose injection. Methods 10% glucose injection and mixed carbohydrate electrolyte injection were added into TPN solution with same prescriptions as the control group and the experimental group respectively. The samples in the two groups were taken at different time points for observing the appearances, pH value, insoluble particles, osmotic pressure, change of fat emulsion particles and electrolytes content. Results Compared with the control group,there was no significant change in the appearance and pH within 48 h in the experimental group. The osmotic pressure in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group by nearly 100 mOsm/L. The quantities of insoluble particles were increased along with the time extension. The size of fat particles was changed significantly with time. Conclusion Mixed carbohydrate and electrolyte solution has certain influence on the stability of TPN solution. In clinical use, its content should be strictly controlled and the prepared TPN solution should be infused as soon as possible after preparation.
