摘要

Abstract

Aim:To study the antioxidative activity and its mechanism of the water extract from incarvillea arguta royle (IAR). Methods: A total of 72 mice were randomly divided into six groups( 12 mice in each group) : the normal group, model group, positive medicine vitamin E group (200 mg/kg) , IAR-Water low,medium,high dose group (equivalent drugs 1. 9,3.8,7.6 g/kg). At the same time of administration, the model group,positive control group and reagent mice were injected D-galactose 1 g/ ( kg·d) by SC, the normal group was injected the same volume of water. Seven weeks after administration,the levels of malondialdehyde( MDA) , superoxide dismutase(SOD) ,and glutathione peroxidase( GSH) in tissues of heart, liver, and kidney were detected. Results: The levels of MDA, SOD, and GSH of 6 groups in tissues of heart, liver, and kidney were obviously different (P<0.05). The levels of MDA were lower and the levels of SOD and GSH were higher in positive medicine vitamin E group,IAR-Water medium, high dose groups than those in model group( P<0. 05) . Conclusion ; IAR water extract has the antioxidative activity by eliminating oxygen free radicals.
