摘要

Abstract

In view of improving accuracy of trigonometric leveling surveying lies on how to reduce the error in measuring the vertical angles with Total Station method. The traditional trigonometric leveling method has shown its limitations, and a new method to measuring elevation using Total Station and tracking pole together is becoming more and more popular recently. After years of research and test, a new method has been carried out to do the measurement. It features measuring with any setting station without measuring the height of instrument and prism, which reduces the sources of error and the field workload. As a result, the new method increases the accuracy of trigonometric leveling while taking less time. The above mentioned way of measuring can be applied to some cases and offers certain reference.
