摘要

Abstract

The stored procedure should be used in any well designed database. Oracle database takes it as a database object. Since Oracle 8i, not only the original PL/SQL language can be used in the development of stored procedure, but also Java language can be used. Taking the latest Oracle edition as an example, this paper describes the concept, classification and its advantage of stored procedure, elaborates the developing process of it in detail through some solid examples, analyzes the merits and shortcomings of different developing languages, and puts forward some developing suggestions in the end.
