Discussion and Analysis on Composite Constitution
摘要
Abstract
Objective:To explore the formation and mechanism of composite constitution in Chinese medicine. Methods;The literature review and theoretical analysis methods were employed. Results;The composite constitution was defined as an objective constitution status mainly characterized by one constitution type complicated with other constitution types. It was a changeable constitution status from one type to another under the influences of age,environment factors,social factors,and diseases. Nine basic constitution types reflected the group convergence of constitutions, while the composite constitutions with different types and varying degrees reflected individual differences. Conclusion: Some attentions should be paid to differentiate the composite constitutions when carrying out clinical epidemiological surveys,and treatments and health preservations based on constitution differentiation;but when investigating the biological mechanisms or the influencing factors of constitutions,a single constitution type should be employed in order to avoid the interferences on the results by composite constitutions.关键词
