Trading theory of unconventional peak load regulation service market with wind power farm participation

Abstract
Limiting wind farms' outputs in valley period of load is common phenomenon with the rapid growth of integrated wind power capacity. The mechanism origin of this phenomenon is analyzed. The marketing pricing model for peak load regulation service is suggested in current generation price regime in order to encourage the voluntary generation company's peak load regulation and lead the wind farm development with the system regulation ability. Based on the current management pattern of peak load regulation services, the basic trading framework design of unconventional peak load regulation service with wind farm participation is proposed. The core issues and solutions are then discussed. The peak load regulation service market with wind farm participation can not only generate price signal, encourage peak load regulation and lead the wind power expansion with the system regulation ability accordantly, but also ensure the economic operation of system. It is compatible with the current policy for supporting the wind power development.关键词
