Abstract
By the static whole-soaking test in simulated seawater, the effect of nickel and silicon on corrosion resistance of low temperature high toughness ductile iron was studied. The results show that with constant silicon content, the corrosion rate of the iron decreases with the increase of nickel content; and with constant nickel content, the corrosion rate also decreases with the increase of silicon content. In the range of the designed composition, the corrosion rate of low temperature high toughness ductile iron is always less than 0.1 g·m-2·h-1, which is within the corrosion grade 1. When the Si content is 2.46%, Ni content is 1.74%, the corrosion rate is as low as 0.042 86 g·m-2·h-1 in the 3.5% NaCI corrosive solution.关键词
