摘要

Abstract

The reasonable and effective management and control of batteries for electric vehicle is necessary to ensure good performance of batteries and extend the life of batteries. Therefore, the battery monitor system was designed based on smart battery monitor chip DS2438. DS2438 integrated the measures of temperature, voltage, current and electricity that flow in and out batteries together, which saved lots of devices and simplified the circuit. The battery state of charge (SOC) could be estimated briefly according to the survey results, and the results were displayed as the judgment to charge/discharge batteries and diagnose faults. Thus, the batteries could be used more rational and the reliability of batteries could be improved.
