Preparation of terminated dimeric acid diisocyanate and its application on cotton fabrics finishing

Abstract
Two kinds of blocking dimeric diisocyanate (DDI) were synthesized by terminating DDI with oxime compounds, and the structure was characterized by FT-IR. The unblocking temperature of terminated DDI was investigated by thermal analysis method. Terminated DDI was emulsified and applied on cotton fabric finishing, and the application property was studied. The results showed that the terminated DDI could afford good water repellency, and the water repellency of fabrics had good washing fastness. The softness and breaking strength of finished cotton fabric was also improved.关键词
