Molecular Markers for Restorer Gene of Cytoplasmic Cotton Male Sterile Restorer Line 2152R

Abstract
With 293 individuals of F2 segregation population from the crossing of CMS line 547 A with restorer line 2125R as materials, the molecular markers linked to the fertility restorer gene were identified by SSR and STS techniques. The filed survey results showed that the segregation ratio of restorer gene was 3' 1, which confirmed that the fertility restorer genes were a pair of dominant genes. Additionally, 4 SSR and 1 STS markers were identified to be closely linked to the restorer gene. This laid a foundation for breeding the strong heterosis restorer lines by molecular markers.关键词
