Analysis and Assessment of Vibration Energy Transmission of Fluid-filled Pipelines

Abstract
Solving the finite element equation for vibration analysis, the force and displacement responses of a fluid-filled pipeline are obtained. Using the solution, the power flow and energy distribution in the pipeline are gained. Then, pipeline vibration can be assessed quantitatively according to the energy. Taking the energy of the average length of the pipeline as the assessment parameter, the magnitudes of vibration of the pipeline with different constraint conditions are assessed quantitatively. Comparing the results with those of the traditional displacement-based assessment method, it is concluded that the energy-based assessment method proposed in this paper is more reasonable and accurate. The energy-based assessment parameter provides an effective theoretical base for vibration control of fluid-filled pipelines.关键词
