Abstract
Interest in understanding the structural basis of amyloid formation has been strongly motivated by their association with a number of diseases, such as Alzheimer's (AD), Parkinson's, and prion diseases. However, the structure of amyloid is still not very clear. Here, we described some of the most commonly used techniques, such as hydrogen-deuterium exchange, cryoelectron microscopy and solid-state nuclear magnetic resonance, employed in amyloid structure characterization. These techniques enabled high-resolution insights into molecular organization of amyloid.关键词
