Abstract
In this experiment, the variation of PAL, PPO and POD activity in two types of cucumber leaves were studied after attacked by whitefly in greenhouse. The results indicated that glabrous cucumber was more resistant to whitefly. The increment of POD activity in the second and third leaves of glabrous cucumber were 53. 24% and 86. 74% respectively higher ( P <0. 01) than that of common cucumber. The increment of PAL activity in the second and third leaves were also higher than that of common cucumber, especially that in the third leaves increased by 322. 27% (P <0. 01). The differences of PPO activity in every leaf of the two cucumber lines were not significant, and the increment of PPO activity in the first and second leaves of glabrous cucumber were 42. 63% and 51. 59% respectively higher than that of common cucumber.关键词
